INTRODUCTION

The Olympian games are the most important multi-sports events in the world  that are celebrated every four years since 1896 (with the exception of 1916, 1940, 1944), derive from an Ancient Greek athleetic festival held at Olympia..
They have as a main objetive to compete athIetes of all countries, without ratial, political or religious discrimination.
In fact, the first Games on record were held in 776 B.C. although they almost certainly date back much earlier. In 393 A.D., the Roman Emperor Theodosius the Great banned them. They were revived in Athens in 1896 thanks mainly to the efforts of Baron Pierre de Coubertin, founder of the International Olimpic Commitee, who expressed the famous Olimpicis Creed: " .The most important thing in the Olympic Games is not to win but to take part just as the most important thing in life is not the triumph but the struggle. The essential thing is not to have conquered but to have fought well.

The 2012 Olympics are being held in London. This is the third time they have been held in there (1908 and 1948. At the summer Olympics, over 200 nations compete in over 25 sports.
